Dalton man arrested on drug charges, ecstasy pills, and revoked license

CHATSWORTH, Ga – A Dalton man was arrested by Murray County law enforcement and during a search of his car, they allegedly found 21 ecstasy pills along other paraphernalia.
A Murray County deputy located a suspicious vehicle near Hwy 225 and Spring Place while on patrol on June 7, 2021. The law enforcement officer identified the driver of the car as Daniel Labron Phillips of Dalton, Ga, and discovered Phillips was driving using a revoked license. While conducting a vehicle inventory post-arrest, the officer allegedly uncovered 21 ecstasy pills, an unknown substance inside a Dr. Pepper bottle, a stolen pistol, digital scales, and $7,370.00.
Daniel Labron Phillips of Dalton, Ga was charged with the following: Possession of a Schedule 1 Controlled Substance, Possession of a Schedule 1 or 2 Controlled Substance with the Intent to Distribute, Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Crime, Possession of Drug Related Objects, and Driving while License was Suspended or Revoked.
All those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
On April 21, 2021, a search warrant was executed at the address of Bernard Paez located in Chatsworth. This investigation and search warrant execution by Murray County drug detectives was involving the sale of illegal narcotics. Pursuant to the search of this residence, 280 vials of THC oil, a Schedule I drug was located with a street value of over eleven thousand dollars. Also located was approximately 1 gram of heroin, 8.7 ounces of marijuana, digital scales, and four firearms.
Bernard Paez was charged with:
Possession of a schedule 1 drug with intent to distribute, Possession of a schedule 1 drug, Possession of heroin, Possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, Possession of marijuana, Possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, and Possession of drug-related objects.
All suspects are innocent until found guilty.
On April 21, 2021, at approximately 3:00 pm Murray County deputies respond to a local mini-warehouse regarding suspicious activity. Upon the deputies’ arrival, it was quickly determined that multiple people were in possession of narcotics. Pursuant to this investigation, the following persons were identified and charged with;
Travis James Smith of Old Federal Rd Chatsworth, Ga 30705. Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of a Schedule IV Drug, and Possession of Drug Related Objects.
Jessica Lynn Cress of Old Federal Rd Chatsworth, Ga 30705. Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of a Schedule IV Drug, and Possession of Drug Related Objects.
Samantha Doevinna Watson of Pleasant Drive Dalton, Ga 30721. Giving a False Name and DOB, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of a Schedule IV Drug, and Possession of Drug Related Objects.
Johnathan Lee Walker of North White Oak Drive Chatsworth, Ga 30705. Outstanding Warrants, Possession of Methamphetamine, and Possession of Drug Related Objects.
Pamela Chris Winkler of Shelton Drive Resaca, Ga 30735. Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Heroin, and Possession of Drug Related Objects.
Laura Mar Amyx, of Treadwell Road Chatsworth, Ga 30705. Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of a Schedule IV Drug, and Possession of Drug Related Objects.
All suspects are innocent until found guilty.
CHATSWORTH, Ga – Murray County Deputies arrested a Chatsworth man and Crandall woman for drug possession following a call about aggressive driving.
On 02/25/2021 our deputies responded to an aggressive driver in the area of Hwy 225 North. Upon locating said vehicle at the Valero Gas Station and the swift investigation that followed.
Derrik Clay Summerour of Wilbanks Road Chatsworth, Ga Murray County was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Distribute, Trafficking in Methamphetamine, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana, Tampering with Evidence, and Possession of Tools for the Commission of a Crime.
