Mrs. Carolyn Nelson, age 85, of Chatsworth, passed away on January 10th, 2020.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Samual Astor and Carrie Crumbley, husbands: David Elliott and Ray Nelson, sisters and brothers-in-law: Aline and Merrill Vess and Eunice and Floyd Dunn, brothers-in-law: Jim Breon and Frank McCamey, sister-in-law: Mary Cumbley.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law: Jack and Mary Elliott of Chatsworth,  daughter and son-in-law: Susan and Henry Winkler of Chatsworth, daughter:  Linda Elliott of Chatsworth, brother; Samual Crumbley,  sisters:  Clara Breon and Sarah Lou McCamey all of Chatsworth, brothers and sisters-in-law: Johnny and Ruby Crumbley of Crandall,  Marvin and Rosa Crumbley of Chatsworth,  sisters and brothers-in-law: Nellie and Jerry Cooper of Maryville, and Doloris and Harold Simerly of Maryville, grandchildren: Michelle and Jeff Adams, Mandy and Daniel Bartley, Sandra Bartley, Nick and Leighan Smith , Matthew Smith, Laura and Jeremy Nix,  Mary Peden all of Chatsworth,  Allison and Thomas Sollicito of Calhoun, Justin and Tiffany Cantrell of Tifton, great-grandchildren: Coty and Trenton Bartley. Riley and Haylee Bartley, Jackson and Judson Nix, Benson Catlett,  Avery, Bryson and Olyvia Hopper,  Lily, Cy, and Ava Sollicito,  Wrenn and Piper Cantrell. As well as her dog, Molly.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, January 13th, 2020 at 1 pm in the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home with Rev. Ronald Guffey, Rev.Shane “Booger” Williams, and Pastor George Ross officiating.  Interment will be at Eton Cemetery.  The Family will receive friends Sunday, January 12th at the funeral home starting at 4 pm.
