Drug Bust on Highway 225 by Deputy and K9 Unit

On Wednesday October 27, 2021 at approximately 1520 hours our Deputy and K9 unit was observing traffic in the area of Highway 225 South at the intersection of New Hope Church Road. A white passenger vehicle with no license plate was observed heading north on Highway 225. A traffic stop was then conducted on the same vehicle in Springdale Estates.
During a probable cause search of the vehicle, methamphetamine, marijuana, prescription pills, digital scales, syringes, a broken glass smoking pipe, and a stolen firearm was located.
A further investigation into the stolen firearm with the assistance of our Criminal Investigative Unit led to the findings of other stolen property at a residence off Mt. Moriah Rd and a residence off 3rd Ave East in Murray County.
As a result of this vehicle stop and further investigation, Mrs. Heather Annette Allen (43) of Chatsworth, Ga was arrested for a probation violation warrant, possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of methamphetamine, possession of a schedule 2 drug, possession of marijuana, possession of drug related objects, and obstruction.
Mr. Johnathan Lee Walker (34) of Chatsworth, Ga was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, drug related objects, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, burglary, theft by taking, and possession of tools for commission of a crime.
Mr. Joshua Lee Smith (34) of Chatsworth, Ga was arrested for burglary, theft by taking, possession of a firearm by convicted felon, and possession of tools for commission of a crime.

Chatsworth man arrested on heroin and marijuana-related charges

On April 21, 2021, a search warrant was executed at the address of Bernard Paez located in Chatsworth. This investigation and search warrant execution by Murray County drug detectives was involving the sale of illegal narcotics. Pursuant to the search of this residence, 280 vials of THC oil, a Schedule I drug was located with a street value of over eleven thousand dollars. Also located was approximately 1 gram of heroin, 8.7 ounces of marijuana, digital scales, and four firearms.
Bernard Paez was charged with:
Possession of a schedule 1 drug with intent to distribute, Possession of a schedule 1 drug, Possession of heroin, Possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, Possession of marijuana, Possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, and Possession of drug-related objects.
All suspects are innocent until found guilty.
