Barbara Gail Hickey, age 74, of Chatsworth passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2020 at AdventHealth Gordon.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ralph Hammontree; mother, Jessie Hammontree; brother, Lynn Hammontree; and husband, Robert “Bootsy” Hickey.

Survivors include her sons and daughter-in-law, Brian and Denise Hickey and Richard Clay Hickey – all of Chatsworth; daughter and son-in-law, Phyllis and Joel Bailey of Chatsworth; brothers and sister-in-law, Danny Hammontree of Chatsworth and Ralph White, Jr. and Agnes Hammontree of Kentucky; sisters, Kathy Leopard of Chatsworth, Kay Pharr of Chatsworth, and Cheryl Hammontree of Dalton; grandchildren, Nicole, Daniel, Sara, and Ryan; great-grandchildren (too many to mention but close to her heart); nieces; nephews; and cousins.

Graveside services for Mrs. Hickey will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, January 16, 2020, at Cool Springs Cemetery with Rev. Stone Southers officiating.

The family will receive friends at Peeples Funeral Home on Wednesday from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Thursday morning before departing for the cemetery.
