Traffic stop leads to drug bust.
In the early morning hours of 08/05/2021, a Uniformed Deputy of the Murray County Sheriffs Office conducted a vehicle stop for canceled vehicle registration. Pursuant to this vehicle stop and a short pursuit, the driver Tammy Yvette Epperson (53yoa) of Hawks Way Chatsworth, Murray County, Ga was found to be in possession of the item(s) pictured below, specifically approximately 4 gross ounces of Methamphetamine.
Tammy Yvette Epperson was charged with; Fleeing to Elude a Law Enforcement Officer, Trafficking in Methamphetamine, Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Distribute, Possession and use of Drug Related Objects, Giving a False Name and or Date of Birth to a Law Enforcement Officer, Driving on a Suspended License, Canceled Vehicle Registration, Open Container of Alcohol, and other traffic violations.
