Little Andrew “Andy” James Hardin, age 3, of Dalton, beloved son of Stephen and Alice Hardin, passed away Friday, February 7, 2020 at Hamilton Medical Center.

He attended Central Community Church; Andy loved playing with his toys, being tickled, and giving kisses.

Andy was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, James Edward Hardin; paternal great-grandparents, Floyd and Mae Woods and Jack and Annie Mae Hardin; maternal great-grandparents, Bro. Don and Juanita Oliver and Freddie and Georgia Baggett.

Survivors include his parents along with his sister, Brooklynn Hardin of Dalton; paternal grandmother, Carol Hardin of Dalton; maternal grandparents, Chuck and Gloria Oliver of Dalton; extended family also survives.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Andy will be held Tuesday, February 11, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. from the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with Bishop Edwin Puckett and Children’s Minister Melissa Minter officiating. Interment will follow in the United Memorial Gardens in Dalton.

The family will receive friends Monday, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Peeples Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions for Antioch Elementary School’s Sensory Room, please make checks payable to WCS/Antioch Elementary. Please specify in memo line “For Andy Hardin/Sensory Room” at 1819 Riverbend Rd, Dalton, GA 30721.

The family requests that appropriate funeral attire consist of Disney or Marvel character apparel and jeans. Children may dress in their favorite Disney or Marvel character costumes.
