Murray County Schools are operating on a two-hour school delay Friday in response to heavy rains.

There will be a 20-percent chance of rain on Friday with a low of 32-degrees and a high of 41-degrees. Winds will travel at about 10 miles-per-hour.

The decision came after a severe weather system closed schools on Thursday leaving at least three dead and spawned several possible tornadoes. Steve Loughridge, Superintendent of Murray County Schools said the decision was made to allow bus drivers to have more visibility on the roads. For his complete comments, visit here.
