Sharon Layman, age 67, of Chatsworth passed away on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at Murray Medical Center.

She was preceded in death by her son, Randy Lee Campbell; father, Frank Heavener, Jr.; mother, Sarah Ann Lute; brothers, Roger Lee Heavener and Jay Heavener; and sister, Stacey Heavener.

Survivors include her husband, Tommy Layman; sons and daughter-in-law, Paul A. Campbell, Jr. of Ohio and Doug and Jessica Campbell of Chatsworth; daughter and son-in-law, Almeda and Pat Murray of Chatsworth; brothers, Kenny R. Heavener of Romney, WV and Pete Lute of Dalton; sisters and brother-in-law, Imogene Heavener of Romney, WV and Rhonda and Rick Rose of Romney, WV; grandchildren, Heather, Josh, Dusty, Drake, Brooke, Ethan, Doug, Jr., Lesley, and Grayson; great-grandchildren, Cory, Chasidy, McKinley, and Hayden; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Mrs. Layman will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, December 15, 2018 in the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Center Valley Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 until 9:00 on Friday evening.
