Mr. Harlon Earl Hales age 75 of Dalton, passed away Tuesday January 5, 2016 at Hamilton Medical Center.

He was a member of the Amazing Grace Baptist Church in Crandall.

Mr. Hales was preceded in death by his parents, Elbert and Bonnie Hales; brothers, Edgar Hales, Tommy Hales and Arthur Hales; granddaughter, Britney Newton.

Survivors include, wife, Patricia ‘Pat’ Hales, Dalton; sons and daughters-in-law, Mark and Kathy Hales, Rocky Face, Steve and Brenda Hales, Chatsworth; daughter and son-in-law, Samantha and Ricky Newton, Dalton; sisters and brother-in-law, Polly Jones, Dalton, Ann and Earl Worley, Rocky Face; grandchildren, Whitney Holland, Cady Silvius, Kaylee Hales, Robby Petty, Daniel Petty, Mickey Parm, Chris Parm, Matt Parm and Timothy Parm; great-grandchildren, Jaxson Arrington, Luke Holland, Corbin Holland, Sadie Silvius, Oliver Creed Silvius, Eli Petty, Tinley Petty, Robby Lee Petty, Matthew Petty, Jordan Petty and Cadence Parm.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mr. Hales will be held Thursday January 7, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. from the Amazing Grace Baptist Church with Rev. Curtis Easley officiating. Interment will follow in the Amazing Grace Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Wednesday January 6^th from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the Peeples Funeral Home in Chatsworth.
