John William Imand, Sr. : Obituary

John William Imand, Sr., age 89 of Chatsworth, passed away peacefully Tuesday, January 24th 2017 in Hamilton Medical Center.
He was a veteran of the United States Navy having served during World War II. Mr. Imand was a master plumber, and he was a member of First Baptist Church of Chatsworth.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley B. Imand; parents, William and Marilu Imand; and brothers, Frank and James Imand.
He is survived by sons and daughers-in-law, John W. Jr. and Ronda Imand and William F. and Joan Imand; daughters and sons-in-law, Joan I. and Louis Dykes and Lynda I. Godfrey; grandchildren, Tabitha Lawter, Sherrie Reiser, Luke Dykes, Philip Dykes, Matthew Dykes, Adam Godfrey, Nathan Godfrey, and Rebekah G. Tanner; great-grandchildren, Corbin Lawter, Kyleigh Lawter, Kason Dykes, Ansley Dykes, and Madalyn Dykes; sister-in-law, Phyllis Imand; brother-in-law and wife, William and Karen Brown; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services to celebrate the life of John W. Imand, Sr. will be conducted 11:00 am Saturday, January 28th 2017 from the Chapel of Jones Funeral Home of Chatsworth with Dr. Mark Shaw officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in memory of John W. Imand, Sr. to the Future Needs Fund at First Baptist Church of Chatsworth 121 West Market Street Chatsworth, Georgia 30705 or to the National Kidney Foundation 30 East 33rd Street New York, New York 10016.

Mr. Kenneth Joseph De Ore, Sr. age 73 of Crandall, passed away Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at his residence.
Mr. De Ore served in the Vietnam War as a US Marine.
Interment for Mr. De Ore will be held in the Chattanooga National Cemetery at a later date.

Mr. Steve William Payne, Sr. age 67 of Chatsworth passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2016.
He was a wonderful husband, loving father, and grandfather. He was kind to others always had a smile on his face. Mr. Payne worked for the the phone company, starting with GTE,Alltel, and finished with Windstream for 39 years. He was a member of the Lions Club, Elks Club and enjoyed golf, hunting, fishing and Saturday morning breakfast with his friends.
He was preceded in death by his father Marshall William Payne.
Mr. Payne is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Nora Asne Payne. Children and spouses, Steve Payne, Jr. of Chattanooga, Keith and Sheri Payne of Dalton, Angela and Rasmus Dyhr of Lenoir City, TN. Mother, Mary Lou Payne of Dalton, Sister and brother in law, Carolyn and Mike Taylor of Dalton, brothers and sisters in law, Garry and Kay Payne of Canton, GA, Ronald and Kellie Payne of Chatsworth, Eleven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Services will be Saturday 4 pm at the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home with Matt Evans Officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday 2pm till 4 pm.

Mr. Rembert David Greeson, Sr., age 52 of Calhoun, GA, passed away on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at his residence. David enjoyed being outdoors, working on cars, listening to music, drinking coffee, and spending time with his family.
David was preceded in death by his father, Clifford Greeson, Sr.; brothers, John Greeson, James Greeson, and Dennis Greeson.
Survivors include his wife, Heather Greeson of Calhoun; a son, Rembert David Greeson, Jr. of Calhoun; daughters and sons-in-law, Cynthia Balentine and Chris of Dalton, Tasha Cooper and Travis C. of Chatsworth; his mother, Mary Greeson of Chatsworth; his grandchildren, Lilyana Cooper, Colton Balentine, Chelsey Greeson, Anthony Faghihi, Jr.; brothers and sister-in-law, Kendall Greeson, Clifford Greeson, Jr. and Lois, all of Chatsworth; sisters and brothers-in-law, Carolyn Tucker of East Ridge, TN, Janet Howard and Danny of Chatsworth, Susan Greeson of Chatsworth, Joan Milen of Chatsworth, Joyce Phillips of South Carolina; Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins also survive.
Funeral services to celebrate the life of David Greeson will be Monday May 16th at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Peeples Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Luffman/Free Hope Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, May15, 2016, from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M.

Mr Harold Haven “Pop” Warnack, Sr., age 80 of Chatsworth passed away on Thursday, March 17, 2016 in Emory Hospital in Atlanta. Mr Warnack served in the United States Army in the Korean Conflict.
He is preceded in death by his wife: Kate Warnack, daughter: Carrie Warnack, parents: Carl and Edith Winstead Warnack, sisters: Alzada Warnack and Charlotte Silvers.
He is survived by children and spouses: Dennis Warnack St. George and Viktora Psymenna of New York, Janice & Ronald Bagley of Dalton, Cheryl and Danny Marcus of Tunnel Hill, Rebecca Cash of Chatsworth, Harold and Loretta Haven Warnack, Jr. of Chatsworth, Daryl and Michelle Warnack of Cohutta, seven grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, brothers: Max E.Warnack of Cleveland, OH,. Paul Carlton Warnack of Texas, Wayne Warnack and Lynn Warnack of Dalton, special friends: Earnest Ledford, Jerry Blaylock, Allen Roper, Brandon Bowen and Gary Bowen, and all of his church family. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Service for Mr. Warnack will be on Sunday, March 20, at 2 PM, in the Chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home with Rev:, Gary Bowen, Jerry Davis ,and Brandon Bowen officiating. Interment will be in Cochran Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday , March 19 from 5 until 9 PM.
In lieu of flowers, His request was to make contributions to Opportunity Baptist Church on Smyrna Church Road in Chatsworth.
