Mrs. Nell Wilson Fisher, age 105 ½, passed away on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at Hamilton Medical Center.
Mrs. Fisher was employed by Murray Medical Center for 27 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, H. C. Fisher, in 1971; parents, William Henry Wilson and Mertie Adams Wilson; 4 sisters; 4 brothers; and several nieces and nephews.
She is survived by her nieces, Lorraine Bradford of Dalton, Hilda Lau of Calhoun, Sue Griffin of Chatsworth, Nell Lynn Lyles (James) of Chatsworth, and Carol Charles Cook of Ball Ground; special nephew, Harold Hilliard of Dalton; and several great-nieces and nephews.
Graveside services for Mrs. Fisher will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, April 8, 2018 at Swamp Creek Cemetery in Whitfield County with Rev. Donny Caylor officiating.
The family will receive friends at Peeples Funeral Home of Chatsworth on Sunday from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm.

Ms. Deborah Lee Welch age 53 of Chatsworth, passed away Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at her residence.
Deborah enjoyed reading.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy Cleaston Welch and Johney Wilnel Welch; brother, Roy Cleaston Welch.
Survivors include children and in-laws, Alan & Tuesday Welch of Chatsworth, Steven & Jennifer Bowen of Chatsworth, Steven Bowen & Sean Chastain of Calhoun; brother, Elvin Welch of Dalton; sisters, Mary Welch of Chatsworth, Sharon Helton of Dalton, and Brenda Davis of Rocky Face; grandchildren, Megan Bowen, Caitlin Bowen, Ethan Bowen, Kim Sundman, Dauston Schweitzer, Gabriel Wood, and Mary Hollingshed; aunts; nieces; nephews.
Funeral services to celebrate the life of Ms. Welch will be held Friday April 6, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Willis officiating. Interment will follow in Camp-Lewallen Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 5:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Eunice M. Snowney, age 94, passed away peacefully at Regency Park surrounded by her loving family and some special friends on March 30, 2018.
She was preceded in death by her husband; Frederick J. Snowney and 12 siblings.
Survivors include her daughters and spouses; Cindy and Julius Weyman Sr. of Chatsworth, Marie and David Gay of Oak Corners, NY, son and spouse; Michael and Linda Snowney of Dalton, grandchildren and spouses, Michele and Aaron Gibson of VT, Mike and Kate Snowney of Dalton, Jessica and Victor Cooper of Smyrna, and Kayleigh and Tim Wallace of Atlanta, great-grandchildren; Kiera Snowney, Everett Cooper, Vivianna Cooper and Marianne Wallace. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral Services will be Tuesday, April 3rd, 2018, at 2 pm, at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Tamlyn Collins officiating. Interment will follow in the Murray Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday, April 2nd, 5 till 8 pm. In lieu of flowers please make donations to First Methodist Church, Saturday Sacks, or the operating budget funds.

Mr. Kendall Dewayne Summey, age 54, of Chatsworth, passed away on March 9, 2018, in the Gordon County Hospital.
Mr. Summey is preceded in death by his mother: Yvonne Foster Summey.
He is survived by his daughter: Bevin Summey, mother of his child: Pamela Pippin both of Dalton, sisters and brothers in law: Patricia and Alvin Sutton of Chatsworth, Cheryl and Darrin Braswell of Ellijay, brother and sister in law: Darrell and Barbara Summey of Dalton, father: Paul Summey of Chatsworth, nieces and nephews: Kay and Donnie Blankenship of Dalton, Ashley & Michael Callan of Chatsworth, D. Ernest Q. Fowler, Jr. (“Bug”), age 75, of Chatsworth passed away on Monday, March 19, 2018 at his home.
Mr. Fowler was a preacher who enjoyed playing guitar and singing gospel music with his family. He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Tennga.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ernest Q. Fowler, Sr.; mother, Mary Magdalene Watts Fowler; and brother, James Kenneth Fowler.
Survivors include his wife, Diane I. Langner Fowler, and daughter and son-in-law, Donna & Brian Hutchins of Chatsworth.
Cremation services were provided by Peeples Funeral Home & Crematory of Chatsworth. No public memorials have been planned at this time.

Mrs. Ruth Mae Williams age 95 of Chatsworth, passed away Sunday, March 11, 2018 at Chatsworth Health Care Center.
Mrs. Williams was a member of Free Hope Baptist Church. She enjoyed singing and writing songs.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Loise Williams; parents, James M. Deal and Florence Chastain Deal; sisters and brothers-in-law, Bertie & Harvey Roe, Efferine & Albert Carlock, Mary & Manson Whaley, Frances & J.W. Headrick; brother and sister-in-law, Abe & Ethel Deal; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Bernice & R.L. Black.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Williams will be held Wednesday March 14, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. from the Free Hope Baptist Church with Rev. Vann Smith and Deacon Jerry Ridley officiating. Interment will follow in the Murray Memorial Gardens.
