Mr. Barney Brownlow Brewer age 77, of Chatsworth, passed away Thursday, August 12, 2016 at his residence.

Mr. Brewer was a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church. He enjoyed going to the mountains and watching westerns.

Mr. Brewer was preceded in death by his mother, Martha Brewer; father, Harlan Brewer; son, Rocoe Brewer; brother, Kenneth Brewer; sisters, Sarah Runyan, Polly Brewer, Sherrill Hyc and Emily Lund.

Survivors include, wife, Wilma Brewer, Chatsworth; sons and daughter-in-law, Clifford Brewer, Chatsworth, Barney and Kim Brewer, St. Paris, OH, David Brewer, Atlanta; daughters and sons-in-law, Teresa and Michael Burch, Dalton, Cheryl and Robert Spinelli, Springfield, OH; brother and sister-in-law, Bracky and Sandy Brewer, McHenry, IL; sisters and brothers-in-law, Emily Sexton, Surprise AZ, Trudy and Pat Oconnor, Surprise, AZ, Faye and Fabe Rotheimer, McHenry, IL, Geneve and Rick Moudy, Beach Park, IL, Jenny and Robert Rosenkranz, Round Lake Beach, IL; 18 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; one very special granddaughter, Crystal Burch. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mr. Brewer will be held Thursday August 18, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. from the chapel of Littleton and Rue Funeral Home in Springfield, OH with Rev. Gary Lewis officiating. Entombment will follow in the Rose Hill Burial Park in Springfield, OH.

Local visitation will be held Monday August 15th from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Peeples Funeral Home.

Out of town visitation will be held Wednesday evening from the Littleton and Rue Funeral Home in Springfield, OH.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions made to the Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University Clifton Campus, 1365-C Clifton Road NE Atlanta, Georgia 30322 in memory of Mr. Barney Brownlow Brewer.
