GEORGIA – FYN became aware of an arrest made this morning at the Georgia State Capitol thanks to a new program called The Georgia Hour with BKP on VoiceofRuralAmerica.com.

Georgia State Senator Colton Moore was seen being shoved to the ground and arrested as he tried to defy a ban that would keep him from House chamber.

Moore was banned following some offensive comments he made about the late Georgia House Speaker, David Ralston.

The current Georgia House Speaker, Jon Burns, banned Moore for life in March following his comments.

Moore accused late Speaker Ralston of corrupt actions while he was in office.

In response to the ban, Moore wrote Speaker Burns a letter stating that it was against his constitutional right to ban him and attempt to arrest him from representing the 53rd District at the State of the State address.

He also stated it was his ‘constitutional right and duty to attend the address’.

Burns allegedly ordered curtains to shield spectators from the chamber and a larger police presence in preparation of Moore’s presence.

When Moore attempted to enter the chamber, he was apprehended and was shoved to the ground during his arrest.

He was charged with willful obstruction of law enforcement and booked into the Fulton County Jail.

He was released on $1,000 bail.

Moore’s office released the following statement:

“Senator Colton Moore, who exposed and defeated corrupt Fani Willis last year, has been arrested by the Anti-Trump Speaker of the Georgia House. Colton is being held in the same Atlanta jail as President Trump. We are working to ensure his expedient release. Please pray for all those standing up for freedom and peace for all Georgians.”
