CALHOUN–Gordon County is up to 18 cases of COVID-19, according to reports from the Georgia Department of Health’s noon report Wednesday. The Ga. DOH updates its numbers at noon and 7 p.m. daily. They have had one death, a 78-year-old male with underlying health issues.

One person is dead in Gordon County after contacting COVID-19, officials released in a statement Wednesday and has nine confirmed cases. Cases are assigned to each county by residence not where they were tested. Also, this is all the information that has been shared with Gordon County as due to HIPPA laws we do not know the names of any patients or fatalities.
The numbers released by the Department of Public Health as of today at 7 p.m. confirms 1,387 positive cases now in Georgia which is up from 1,247 at noon today. Deaths in the state of Georgia went from forty reported at noon up to forty seven reported tonight.
