Mr. David O’Daniel Garner, age 73, formerly of Ellijay, passed away at Pruitt Health in Ft. Oglethorpe, GA. on March 13, 2017.

He is preceded in death by his parents Joe and Ruby Garner.

He is survived by his loving wife: Ozella, sons & daughters in law: David L & Sue Garner of Dalton, Gary & Shelly Woodring of Chatsworth , daughter: Michelle Spence and special friend Kathy Williams, daughter and son in law: Rocky & Hilton Brindle, grandchildren & spouses: Sheena Spence, Cody & Elizabeth Spence of Chatsworth, Brittany Weaver of Dalton, great grandchildren and spouses: Logan Spence, Lanie Spence, Trinity Weaver, Holly Garner, brothers & sisters in law: Cleve Underwood of Ellijay, Delmar & Frances Garner of Calhoun, Harold & Vonzie Garner of Columbus, GA., Jim & Patricia Garner of Cohutta, sister: Mary Jo Smith of Chatsworth, several nieces and nephews, special friends: David & Phyllis Cagle of Ranger.

Funeral service for Mr. Garner will be on Wednesday, March 15 at 2 pm, with Rev Reece Fauscett officiating.  The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 12 noon until the funeral hour.
