Mr. Lumes J. Dunn, age 82, of Dalton, passed away on March 9, 2017 at Hamilton Medical Center.

Mr Dunn is preceded in death by his wife: Betty Ann Ellison Dunn, brother  Elbert Dunn, sisters and brother in law: Ruby Dunn and Arby Wilson, Leona Dunn Miley and Eda Berdine Dunn.

He is survived by daughters and son in law: Rhonda Dunn of Dalton, Tammy & Douglas Weatherly Jr. of Ringgold, grandson and wife: Brandon & Tracy Weatherly of Ringgold,  granddaughter and husband: Alisha & Brandon Christensen of Miami, Fl., brother and sisters in law: Elvin and Neva Dunn of Chatsworth,  Margie Dunn of Dalton, sister: Margaret Dunn of Mississippi, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service for Mr. Dunn will be held on Sunday, March 12, at 2 pm in the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home with Pastor Larry Don Woodson officiating. Interment will be in West Hill Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Saturday after 5 pm at the funeral home.
