Mrs. Virginia “Gen” Lee Dixon, age 69, of Chatsworth, passed away on March 6, 2017 at her residence.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Decatur and Ora Dell Parker, brother: Luke Parker, sisters and brothers in law: Betty & John Walraven, Laura & Buddy Wyatt, twin sisters: Rita Parker and Debbie Parker.

She is survived by her husband: Jackie Dixon, brothers and sisters in law:  Carl & Patricia Parker, Loyd & Ruby Parker, Ray & Betty Parker, sister & brother in law: Althea & Burton Walraven all of Chatsworth, sons & daughters in law: Jack & Pam Dixon, Bobby & Jacklyn Dixon, Johnny Dixon & Helen Cloer, all of Chatsworth, grandchildren: Chad, Seth, Gage, Chassidy, Amanda, Elisabeth, Justin, Jasmine, Jacob, Trey, Brittany, Jayden, Haley, Reece, Maddie, Austin, Zander, Branzley, and Haven. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral service for Mrs. Dixon will be held on Wednesday at 1 PM at Hopewell Baptist Church Old Hwy 411, Gordon County with Rev. Cecil Pritchett and Rev. Donald Shipman officiating.  The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5 until 9 at the funeral home.

Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
