Mr. John Bowman, age 71, of Old Fort, Tennessee passed away Sunday, February 12, 2017 at Kindred Hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

John was preceded in death by his parents, Gene and Della Bowman, and brothers, Eddie Bowman and Kenneth Bowman.

Survivors include his son, Johnny Bowman of Tennga, GA; brothers, Benny Bowman of Etowah, TN and Bobby Bowman of Tennga, GA; and several aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at Peeples Funeral Home and Crematory of Chatsworth, GA from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Cremation will follow.
