Mrs. Ruby Jones, age 79, of Chatsworth passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at Hamilton Medical Center.

She enjoyed gardening and quilting and was a member of Old Fashion Baptist Church.

Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her parents, Ed and Beulah Blankenship; husband, Bryan Jones; and son, Douglas Jones.

Survivors include her daughter, Beverly Carroll; daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and John Berry, Ranger; sister, Sybil Edwards, Chatsworth; grandchildren, Jason Hamilton, Lee Hamilton, Heath Hamilton, Kelly Jackson, Heather Smith, Jessica Carroll, McKenzie Carroll, and Andrew Carroll; 8 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Jones will be held Saturday, December 3, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. from the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Matthew Harris officiating. Interment will follow in the Old Fashion Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m.
