Ms. Barbara Jean Long age 74 of Chatsworth, passed away Thursday September 29, 2016.

She was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church.

Ms. Long was preceded in death by her parents, Bradford and Mattie Lou Wilbanks Long; an infant daughter, Melody Ann Burton.

She was survived by numerous cousins and friends.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Ms. Long will be held Saturday October 1, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. from the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Donald Cantrell officiating. Interment will follow in the Murray Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be held Friday from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
