Mr. Jimmy Lee Stinnett, 74, of Chatsworth passed away on Monday, September 19, 2016.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, William & Beulah Stinnett; brother, Billy Stinnett; second wife, Linda Seay; and grandparents.

Survivors include: son and daughter-in-law, Jason & Barbara Stinnett of Chatsworth; daughters and sons-in-law, Sonya & Kirk Hemphill of Chatsworth and Sherri & Brian Whitener of Chatsworth; the mother of his children, Margie Miller of Chatsworth; stepson, Timothy Seay of Dalton; stepdaughters and sons-in-law, Caron & Prince Cobb of Dalton and April & Greg Dills of Dalton; brother and sister-in-law, Gary & Diane Stinnett of Chatsworth; sisters and brothers-in-law, Robbie & Kenneth Wheat, Jean & Dwight Sheram, Johnnie Stinnett, and Karen Barton – all of Chatsworth; grandchildren, Justin Stinnett, Colby Reed, Tanner Hemphill, Tucker Hemphill, Jackson Stinnett, Jason Miller, and James C. Miller; step-grandchildren, Matt Cobb, Zack Cobb, and Hannah Sproles; numerous great-grandchildren; and several dear extended family members.

Funeral services for Mr. Stinnett will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, September 22, 2016 from the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with Dr. Greg Collins officiating. Interment will follow at Murray Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5:00 until 9:00 pm.
