Mrs. Betty Lou Ash, age 73 of Chatsworth passed away Saturday Aug. 6, 2016 at the residence.

Mrs.Ash was preceded in death by her parents: Alfonzo “Fonzie” and Essie Cochran of Chatsworth, sister: Nora Bryant and brother: James Cochran.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years: Robert E. Ash of Chatsworth, sons and daughters in laws; Michael & Tammy Ash, Allen & Lesia Ash, daughters and son in law: Cindy & Johnny White and Deborah Howard all of Chatsworth, sisters and brothers in law: Helen Noland, Carl & Gail Cochran, James & Vivian Forrest, Brenda & Jimmy Bowen, Sharon Baker, Karen & Jimmy Mulkey and Christine Forrest all of Chatsworth, 9 grandchildren and spouses: Jessica Ash, David Ash, Ryan Ash, Kayla & Tyler Mitchell, Amy & Kevin Dyer, Chris & Nikki Southern, Ashley & David Izaguirre, Heather Howard , Scott Howard and 12 great grandchildren. Nieces and nephews also survive.

The Funeral service for Mrs. Betty Ash will be held Monday, August 8, 2016 at 4 PM at Mt. View Baptist Church with Rev. Crafton Dover and Rev. Roger Burgess officiating. Interment will be in Mt. View Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 5 until 9 PM at Shawn Chapman Funeral Home.
