Rev. Allen Self, age 59 of Dalton passed away Saturday July 30, 2016.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Carl and Edith Deal Self, William and Ethel Stout Conner. Uncles, John Roy Conner and Boyd Stout.He is survived by his loving wife or 42 years, Sheila Henson Self. Son and daughter in law, Shane Allen and Alicia Self  of Dalton. Parents Weston and JoAnn Self of Dalton

Sisters and brothers in law, Diane and Joe Glass of Cleveland, TN, Connie and Perry Fleming of Chatsworth. Brother and sister in law, Kevin and Carletta Self of Chatsworth.

Several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews  also survive.

Funeral Services will be Monday 2 pm at Shining Light Baptist Church with Rev. Kevin Self and Rev. Tommy Webb officiating.  Interment will follow in the Hopewell Cemetery in Cohutta. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday 4 till 9 pm.
