Mrs. Mary Elaine Shipman of Chatsworth passed away on Friday, June 24, 2016, at her residence.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, James and Mary Holt; 11 brothers and sisters; a daughter, Virginia Greenway; a son, Larry Shipman.

Survivors include her sons, Jerry Shipman of Chatsworth and James Shipman of Ball Ground, GA; a daughter, Mary Brindle of Chatsworth; a sister, Pearl Withrow of Ellijay, GA; 8 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Mary Shipman will be Sunday, June 26, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with the Rev. Jeff Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in the Sharp Top Baptist Church Cemetery in Jasper, GA.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday June 25th from 4:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M.
