Mr. Hershell Lee Pendergrass, age 72, of Chatsworth passed away on May 31, 2016 at Hamilton Medical Center.

He is preceded in death by parents: Arnold and Osie Pendergrass,brothers: Claude Pendergrass and Kenneth Pendergrass, and grandson Andrew Gilreath.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years: Eva Mae Pendergrass, children: Bryon Adams , Kenneth Evan Adams and Tammy Pickle all of Chatsworth and Teresa Beck of Texas, brothers and sister in law: Roy and Frances Pendergrass of Chatsworth, Nick Pendergrass of Ellijay, and Mike Watson of Texas, sisters and brother in law: Geneva and Raymond English of Cohutta, and Diane Pendergrass of Pigeon Forge, TN., step mom: Linda Pendergrass, step son: Ronnie Watson.  Several grandchildren, neices and nephews also survive.

Funeral Service for Mr. Pendergrass will be Friday at 11 AM in the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home with Rev. Donald Young and Rev Raymond English officiating.  The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5 until 9 at the funeral home.  Interment will be in Eton Cemetery.
