Mr. Golie “G.W.” Miller, 83 of Chatsworth, passed away Saturday, May 28, 2016 at Erlanger Health Care.

He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Della Miller; wife, Wilma Kate Miller; brothers and sisters, Leslie Miller, R.L. Miller, Sam Miller, Lee Miller and Laura Mae Miller.

Survivors include his sons, Randy Miller, Timmy Miller, and Kirk Miller all of Chatsworth; daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda and Phil Posey of Chatsworth, Alisa and Anthony Wimberley of Chatsworth, and Sasha Miller of Chatsworth; brothers, Robert Miller of Ohio and Jerry Miller of Ocoee, TN; grandchildren, Angie Miller, Daniel Miller, Nicki Posey, Duran Miller, Dusty Stanley, Anna O’Dell, Brittany Walraven, C.J Wimberley, Kailie Wimberley, Will Miller, and Lauren Miller; and many great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mr. Golie “G.W.” Miller will be held Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Peeples Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Murray Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.

Military honors will be provided by the American Legion Post 167 of Chatsworth.
