Mrs. Willie Frances “Bill” McCamy went home to be with the Lord on Thursday May 5, 2016.

She was born January 6, 1921 to late Herbert and Jessie Childers.

Mrs. McCamy was a long time member of Eton Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School and sang in the choir for more than 30 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh McCamy; parents, Herbert and Jessie Childers; parents-in-law, Stewart and Exie McCamy; grandson, Matthew McCamy; great-granddaughter Anna McCamy; sister and brother-in-law, Foster and Pauline Perkins; brother and sister-in-law, Marvin and Elma Childers.

She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Rick and Toni McCamy and Phil and Janice McCamy-all of Chatsworth; granddaughter, Megan McCamy; grandsons and spouses, Kevin and Beth McCamy and Matthew and Tara McCamy; great-grandchildren, Reece and Carter McCamy, Avery and Landon McCamy and Luna McCamy Brinkman; sister, Kathryn Cochran of Dalton; Nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mrs. McCamy will be held Sunday May 8, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. from the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. George Ross and Rev. Charles Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the Center Valley Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
