Johnny Lynn Boatwright, age 53, of Chatsworth passed away on Monday, March 21, 2016.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Amber Boatwright; father, Arnold Boatwright; nephew, Jeff Huckeby; and great-nephew, Dakota Hall.

Survivors include his children, Destiny, Joey, Cassie, and Chris Boatwright – all of Calhoun; their mother, Melissa Tant; children, Johnny and Josh Boatwright and Keshia Gentry of Nashville; three grandchildren; mother, Mildred Boatwright of Chatsworth; brothers and sisters, Eddie Boatwright, Ronald Boatwright, Melvin & Debbie Boatwright, Bea & David Coram, Ida & Clevey Murphy, Becky Huckeby, and Tracy Boatwright – all of Chatsworth; and several dear nieces, nephews, other extended family members, and friends.

Funeral services for Mr. Boatwright will be held at 3:00 pm on Friday, March 25, 2016 from the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Stephen Hare officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Sumach Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 12 noon until the funeral hour.
