Conda Goodson Announces Campaign for Georgia State Senate

Murray County Republican, Conda Goodson is pleased to announce her run for State Senate District 54.
Conda Goodson is a life long resident of Whitfield and Murray Counties. She is an avid volunteer working for causes such as the Red Cross, Breast Cancer Awareness, United Way, Conasauga River Cleanup, Humane Society of North Georgia and Murray County Animal Control. She has been awarded the Murray County Volunteer of the Year.
Conda attended Southeast Whitfield High School, earned her GED at age 16 and studied Nursing at Dalton State College. Conda has been blessed with 3 children and 2 wonderful grandsons. Conda is a Southern Baptist.
She served as the President of Parent Committee of Murray County Head Start for 4 years, President of Parent Representative Committee for North Georgia Head Start, Parent Representative at Northwest Elementary School and Girl Scout troop leader for 6 years.
Conda believes “We need to return control of Education back to the teachers, parents and local school boards.”
“Our insurance laws should be made in the best interest of the people of Georgia, but that won’t happen while the Insurance Companies finance the campaign of our Senator who chairs the Insurance & Labor Committee.”
“Every year our State Legislature comes up with new fees, taxes and laws trampling on our rights. This will get worse and worse until we stand up for ourselves and Vote Them Out.”
