Mrs. Junelle ‘Junie’ Wilbanks age 82, of Chatsworth, passed away Friday January 29, 2016 at Regency Park.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Chatsworth.
Mrs. Wilbanks was preceded in death by her parents, Jess and Pearl Parrott; husband, Glen Wilbanks; siblings, Emmie Long, Bernice Davis, Toad Parrott, Juanita Justice, Gerie Young; brother-in-law, Garvin Wilbanks; nephews Don Young and Tim Beavers.
Survivors include, sisters-in-law, Peggy Beavers and Joyce Wilbanks both of Chatsworth; Crystal Mixson who was like a daughter and Katherine Mixson who was like a granddaughter; nieces, Jennifer Bates, Linda Noland, and Charlotte Clark; nephews, Novis Davis, Gordon Long, Jr., Mike Long, Jerome Parrott, Kelly Wilbanks, and Tom Young. Many other special extended family members also survive. A special thank you to the caring staff at Regency Park Health Facility.
Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Wilbanks will be held Sunday January 31, 2016 at 2:30 p.m. from the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with Dr. Mark Shaw and Rev. George Ross officiating. Interment will follow Monday in the Murray Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 11:30 a.m. until the service time at 2:30 at the funeral home.
