Clarence Paul “C. P.” Wells: Obituary

Clarence Paul “C. P.” Wells, age 64, of Chatsworth passed away on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at his residence.

Mr. Wells enjoyed hunting and spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his father, Andrew Wells; mother, Jimmie Wells; and wife, Mary Katherine Davis Wells.

Survivors include his daughter, Diane Shoemaker Horne of Chatsworth; brothers and sisters-in-law, William & Betty Jo Wells of Chatsworth and Eugene & Lillie Wells of Chatsworth; sisters and brothers-in-law, Olivia & Tony Wright of Rocky Face, Revenia Kaye Brown of Dalton, Virginia Adams of Dayton, OH, Maxine & James Rhoades of Dayton, OH, and Mary Allen of Dayton, OH; grandchildren, Brandon Shoemaker of Chatsworth, LaShae Winkler of Chatsworth, and Jonathan Horne of Chatsworth; great-grandchildren, Bayleigh Winkler, Pate Winkler, Magnolia Winkler, Kelly McHan, and Derek McHan; special friends, Jennifer McClain and Nancy; and other extended family members.

Funeral services for Mr. Wells will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, November 6, 2015 from the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with Pastor Chris Ray officiating. Interment will follow in the Center Valley Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 1:30 p.m. until the funeral hour.
