Jimmie W. Witherow, age 80, of Murray County passed away on Wednesday, November 4, 2015.
He was preceded in death by his father, David Jefferson “Boy” Witherow; mother, Minnie Walraven Witherow; and sister, Faye Penson.
Survivors include his wife, Jimmie Lou Witherow; son, Dr. David Witherow and wife, Sandee, of Chatsworth; sisters and brothers-in-law, Maudie & Charles Rogers of Chatsworth and Georgia & Jack Tysor of Douglasville, GA; grandchildren, Nathan, Gregory, Zachary, Maria, and Kimberly Weeks; and other dear extended family members.
Funeral services for Mr. Witherow will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 7, 2015 from the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Priester, Rev. Danny Cochran, and Don Turknett officiating. Interment will follow at Murray Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
