Emoylees Bradley Young: Obituary

Mrs. Emoylees Bradley Young, age 99, of Decatur, GA, formerly of Chatsworth, passed away Monday, November 2, 2015 at Emory Health Care in Atlanta.

She was a 1935 graduate of Murray County High School. She specialized in Vocational Rehabilitation and Administrative Support at the Georgia Department of Education from 1952 to 1972 and in Administrative Support at the Georgia Department of Human Resources from 1973 to 1993. She was also a member of the Emory Presbyterian Church in Decatur, GA.

Mrs. Young was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Bradford Young; parents, James and Addie Bradley; and brothers, Robert, C.W., and John F. Bradley.

Survivors include her son and daughter in-law, Richard and Gretchen Young, and grandchildren, Abigail, Samuel Augustus “Gus” and Scarlett Young.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Young will be held Friday, November 6, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. from the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Harrison Chapel Cemetery.
