Barbara Roberts Etheridge Odell went to her eternal home in Heaven after passing peacefully at home on Saturday, January 7, 2017.

She was preceded in death by her husband Johnny Odell as well as her parents Frank and Mollie Roberts and brothers and sisters, Glenn Roberts, Ivan Roberts, Dixie Roberts, Don Roberts, Gladys Rampley, Evelyn McNabb, Ruby Gould, and Reba Roberts.

She is survived by her children, Michael and Janet Etheridge and Brent and Kay England. Grandchildren, Max England, Simon England, John Michael Etheridge, Asher Etheridge, Jeb Etheridge and one sweet little boy, Tyrone McBryar. She is also survived by her sister and brother, Pat Etheridge and Roger Roberts and her loving and special friend for 11 years, Don McBryar and his son Eddie.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Barbara’s memory to Murray County’s Next Step at PO Box 133, Chatsworth, GA 30705. NEXT STEP serves families who are experiencing a temporary crisis.

A private family gathering will be planned at a later date.

Cremation services were provided by Peeples Funeral Home & Crematory.
