Mr. George Franklin Dixon age 75 of Marietta, GA, passed away Friday September 2, 2016.

Mr. Dixon was preceded in death by his parents, Juel F. Dixon and Essie Vera Brock Dixon; sisters, Wilma English, Katherine Bowen and Pearl Ellis; brother, Johnny Dixon; step-sons, Barry and Robert Holbrook;

Survivors include, wife, Betty Myrick Dixon, Marietta, GA; step-children, Lisa Day, Johnny and Roy Holbrook all of Marietta, GA; brother, Winfred Dixon, Rising Fawn, GA; sisters, Mary Crumbley and Glenda Satterfield both of Crandall. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mr. Dixon will be held Sunday September 4, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Fairy Valley Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 12:30 until 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
