Mr. Steve “Bullet” Ross, 57 of Chatsworth, passed away Wednesday June 8, 2016.

He was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church. Steve enjoyed playing with his grandson Reece and working in the yard.

Mr. Ross was preceded in death by his father, Charles “Eddie” Ross, and mother-in-law, Ruth Ann Bartley Souther.

Survivors include wife of 35 years, Karen Souther Ross of Chatsworth; mother, Lou Rena Ross of Dalton; son, Stephen Lewis Ross Jr. of Chatsworth; daughter, Hilary Ross of Chatsworth; father-in-law, Rev. Bobby Souther of Chatsworth; brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Linda Ross of Dalton; brother-in-law, Monty Souther of Chatsworth; grandchild, Reece Decader Dixon; niece, Britney Ross; nephews, Derreck Souther and Colton Souther; great nephew, Jameson Souther; Aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mr. Steve “Bullet” Ross will be held Sunday, June 12, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. from Mt. Olive Baptist Church with the Rev. James Nix and Rev. Johnny Beason officiating. Interment will follow in the Murray Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Reece Dixon, Stephen Ross, Colton Souther, Derreck Souther, Joey Deboard, Ricky Trammell, Ronnie Dotson, Jimmy Cox; Honorary pallbearers, Nick Fouts, Daniel Mason, Daniel Deboard, Wesley Sanford, Landon Buttermilk, Ken Ridley, and Cary Gladden.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 5:00p.m. until 9:00 p.m.

Flowers are accepted or memorial contributions may be made to the Mt. Olive Baptist Church building fund in care of Rev. Bobby Souther at 230 Luffman Rd. Chatsworth, GA 30705.
