Man arrested in Murray County for possession of Methamphetamine

PRESS RELEASE – Narcotics investigators and Patrol units in Murray County, Georgia, conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle as part of an ongoing surveillance operation in an area of Murray County that had received several citizen complaints for illegal drug activity.
The driver of the vehicle, Timothy Hagan of Chatsworth, was arrested for possessing 8.1 ounces of Methamphetamine, one gram of Cocaine, one firearm, $1,500 cash, and other drug related objects.
Mr. Hagan was charged with the following criminal charges:
– Trafficking Methamphetamine.
– Possession of Methamphetamine w/ intent to distribute.
– Possession of Methamphetamine.
– Possession of Cocaine.
– Possession of SCH IV drug.
– Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
– Possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
– Possession of drug related objects.
The Murray County Sheriff’s Office stated that they are “thankful that we are able to serve in a community in which the citizens care so deeply about protecting other community members and assisting in battling against drug activity within the boundaries of this great county.”
