Mr. Dorson G. Head age 64 of Chatsworth, passed away Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at Parkside Nursing Home.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Bertha Rose Davenport Head and father Earnest Doyle Head; brothers, James William Cochran and Willie Monroe Cochran.
Survivors include wife, Terry Head of Chatsworth; sons and daughter-in-law, Jason & Christine Head and Jonathan Head –all of Wyandotte, MI; daughters and son-in-law, Tina Head of Detroit, MI and Tonya & Terry Teasley of Dalton; brothers and sister-in-law, Douglas Thrice Head of Chatsworth and Donald Lawson Head & Kimberly Head of Florence, AL; 14 grandchildren; nieces & nephews.
Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mr. Head will be Saturday, January 19, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Willis officiating. Interment will follow in the Center Valley Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Peeples Funeral Home & Crematory of Chatsworth is in charge of the arrangements.
