Jerry B. Thornbury: Obituary

Mr. Jerry B. Thornbury age 73 of Chatsworth, passed away Friday January 8, 2016.

Mr. Thornbury was preceded in death by a son, Gerald Thornbury; father, John Ballard Thornbury; mother, Louise Felker Raper; brother-in-law, Herschel Ridley.

Survivors include, wife, Geraldine Thornbury, Chatsworth; son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Beth Thornbury, Chatsworth; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Janice and George Hughes, Edmond and Pam Ridley, Dee and Sharon Ridley, Pat and Larry Kilgore, Robert Ridley all of Dalton, Kathy and Bill Holcomb, Ringgold; grandchildren, David, Clayton and Blaine Thornbury; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mr. Thornbury will be held Sunday January 10, 2016 at 3:30 p.m. from the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Brotherton officiating. Interment will follow in the New Hope-Kilgore Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
