MURRAY COUNTY, Ga. — A Chatsworth man was arrested following a narcotics investigation that led to the seizure of methamphetamine, marijuana, and thousands of dollars in cash, according to the Murray County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities said investigators seized approximately 131 grams of methamphetamine, 48 grams of marijuana, and more than $7,000 in cash during the investigation.
As a result of the investigation, Glenn Maurice James of Chatsworth was taken into custody.
James faces multiple charges, including trafficking methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, and felony possession of marijuana.
The Murray County Sheriff’s Office did not release additional details about the investigation or where the seizure took place.
In a statement, the sheriff’s office thanked the deputies and investigators involved in the case, saying they continue to work tirelessly to help keep the community safe.
