Sheila Silvers Ward: Obituary

Sheila Silvers Ward, age 62, of Tennga passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2020, at her residence.

She enjoyed gardening, camping, and spending time with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Macey Beavers; first husband of 37 years and father of her children, (Willie) Lloyd Silvers; brother, Eldon “Dee” Beavers; and grandchildren, Kayla Cheyenne Silvers, Michael Ryan Silvers, and Elijah Lewis Young.

Survivors include her husband, Phillip Ward; sons and daughters-in-law, Jimmy and Tina Silvers of Centre, AL, and Michael and Brandie Silvers of Tennga; stepsons and daughter-in-law, Phillip, Jr. and Kathy Ward of Crandall, Craig Ward of Chatsworth, and Houston Ward of Chatsworth; daughters, Jenny and Jr. Whaley of Chatsworth and April and Jeremy Young of Hampton, VA; stepdaughters and sons-in-law, Devonda and Jeff Trantham of Ducktown, TN, and Cristal and Scott Haynes of Birmingham, AL; brother and sister-in-law, Davy and Penny Beavers of Eton; sisters and brother-in-law, Shirley and Bobby Sutton of Lampasas, TX, and Darlene Hicks of Dalton; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Louie and Judy Silvers of Tennga, Carolyn and Dennis Sutton of Cave Spring, GA, and Rena and Lamar Middlebrooks of Tunnel Hill, GA; grandchildren, Jessica Jenkins, Wayne Agan, Taylor Silvers, Jadin Silvers, Connor Silvers, and Benjamin Young; step-grandchildren, Noah Whaley, Bennett Haynes, Addison Haynes, Kimberly Pregmon, and Diana Skinner; great-grandchildren, Audrey, McKinley, and Kaitlyn Jenkins and Landyn and Declan Agan; several nieces and nephews; and dear friends, Faye Manis, Jessie Stewart, and Sonja Miller.

Funeral services for Sheila Silvers Ward will be held at 3:00 pm on Tuesday, January 21, 2020, in the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with Bro. Lamar Middlebrooks officiating. Interment will follow in the Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery in Tennga.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 11:00 am until the funeral hour at 3:00 pm.
