Mr. Ray Gribble, 74 of Chatsworth, passed away Sunday, January 19, 2020 at his residence.
Ray enjoyed working, watching sports, listening to gospel music, and reading his Bible.
Ray received an honorable discharge from the United States Navy in 1971.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Julian and Opal Gribble; brothers, Kenneth Gribble, Donald Gribble, Harold Gribble, Paul Gribble, and Cecil Gribble; sister, Beatrice Davis; his first wife, Linda Witherow Gribble.
Survivors include his loving wife, Pamela Gribble of Chatsworth; son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Mariah Gribble of Chatsworth; daughter, Dara Gribble of Chatsworth; brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard and Shirley Gribble of Dalton, David and Judy Gribble of Chatsworth; sisters and brothers-in-law, Jean and Ray Bishop of Dalton, Brenda and Gerald West of Dalton; grandchildren, Lance Corporal Noah Engle of Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, Mason Goss of Chatsworth, and Clay Gribble of Chatsworth; mother-in-law, Mildred Aley; sister-in-law, Marlene Aley; brother-in-law, Darrell Aley; extended family also survives.
Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mr. Gribble will be held Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Jesse Bryson officiating. Interment will follow in Faith Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
