MURRAY COUNTY, Ga -After making a threat to bring a gun to school on Thursday, Dec. 12, an unidentified North Murray High School student was disciplined and enrolled in alternative school.
The student made the threat on Monday, Dec. 9. Someone reported it, leading Murray County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) to investigate. MCSO deemed the threat not credible.
Around 200 students missed school on Thursday according to North Murray High School’s legal counsel Mike Tuck. He also stated that the student in question received appropriate discipline.
