Mrs. Vickie Gail Nelson, age 60, of Rocky Face, passed away on December 5, 2019, at Hamilton Medical Center.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Raymond Newberry and Frances Long Clowers, twin sons: Raymond Keith and Charles Kendall Nelson, brother: Paul Newberry, father in law: Gus Nelson, sister in law: Patricia Payne.
Mrs. Nelson is survived by her husband: Charles Nelson of Rocky Face, son: Joshua Nelson of Rocky Face, daughter and spouse: Autumn and Nathan Blackwell of Rocky Face, grandchildren: Alana Dunagan and husband, Joshua of Rocky Face, Chelsey Nelson of Dalton, Tristan Lopez of Dalton, sister: Cynthia Shahan of Dalton, mother in law: Geraldine Nelson of Chatsworth, sisters in law: Tywanna Osborne and boyfriend Phil Adams of Chatsworth, Janet Morgan and husband Jason of Cohutta, brothers in law and spouse: Danny and Cindy Nelson,, Bobby Nelson all of Cleveland, and special cousin: Wanda Borror of Rocky Face. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
A memorial service will be held at 3 PM, on Saturday, December 7, at New Zion Hill Baptist Church in Dalton.
