Ann Bailey Davenport: Obituary

Mrs. Ann Bailey Davenport, age 81, of Chatsworth passed away on Thursday, September 26, 2019, at Hamilton Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Davenport was a member of Grace Baptist Church. She loved spending time with her family, listening to gospel music, and going camping.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Lula Bailey; two brothers; two sisters; son, Michael Davenport; and granddaughter, Chastity Caldwell Pell.

Survivors include her husband, Jimmy Davenport of Chatsworth; daughter and son-in-law, Sheila Caldwell and Chris Green of Chatsworth; brother and sister-in-law, Sam and Bonnie Bailey of Chatsworth; grandchildren, Nic Caldwell and Keri and Dillon Davenport; great-grandchildren, Preslie, Peyton, Nico, Jase, Khloee, and Jaley; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Davenport will be held on Sunday, September 29, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Arthur Corbin, Rev. Isaac Johns and Rev. Chris Corbin officiating. Interment will follow in the Grace Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Saturday from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
