Miriam Jewell “Judy” Dyer: Obituary

Mrs. Miriam Jewell “Judy” Dyer age 81 of Chatsworth, passed away Monday, July 1, 2019 at Hamilton Medical Center.

Judy was a member of Little Conasauga Baptist Church; she loved spending time with her family and loved ones.

Mrs. Dyer was preceded in death by her husband, Millard E.G. Dyer; parents, Thomas “T.H.” & Emma Best; sister, Johannah Allen Kelly; brothers-in-law, Wayne Allen and George Kelly; sisters-in-law, Margaret Flood and Lorene Flood.

Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Ricky & Brenda Dyer of Chatsworth; daughter and son-in-law, Bill & Jeannine Sturgill of Chatsworth; brother, Harold Flood of Chatsworth; grandchildren, Zane Sturgill, Jeannie Clemmons, Sherman Dyer, Valerie Lyles, Melissa Walls, Kevin Dyer, and Leland Sturgill; 20 great-grandchildren, Presley Glover, Kaylon, MaKinley and Jaxon Sturgill, Brentney, Shelby, Savannah, Sidney, and Emily Clemmons, Danielle and Sarah Lyles, Brandon and Caden Walls, Kaylee Norman, Kaycee Kendrick, Wyatt Adair, Lexie, Bryson, Hayleigh and Ethan Dyer; 2 great-great grandchildren, Asher Welch and Maddox Glover; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews also survive.

Flowers are accepted or donations may be made to help with final expenses.

A memorial graveside service will be held Sunday, July 14, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the Eton Cemetery.
