Charles “Steve” Cox

October 11, 1953 – March 11, 2019

Mr. Charles “Steve” Cox age 65 of Crandall, passed away Monday, March 11, 2019 at his residence.

Charles was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed hunting, traveling, gardening and taking care of his live stock.

Mr. Cox was preceded in death by his father Claude Cox and a daughter Pam Cox.

Survivors include wife, Edith Frances Cox of Crandall; son, Charles Kenneth Cox of Crandall, step-sons, Jeremiah Michael Cook and Jedadiah Stephen Hlousek both of Cleveland, TN; mother Eloise Cox of Crandall; brothers & sisters-n-law, Alan & Rita Cox of Dalton, Eddie & Roseann Cox of Dalton, Richard Cox of Crandall and Mike Cox of Chatsworth; sisters and brother-in-law, Cheryl & Bobby Martin of Old Fort, TN and Polly Cox of Crandall; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews & cousins also survive.

Graveside services to celebrate the life of Mr. Cox will be held Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at the Murray Memorial Gardens with Rev. Danny Cochran officiating.

The family will receive Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Peeples Funeral Home.
