Robert Steelman, Jr.: Obituary

Mr. Robert Steelman, Jr. age  89 of Crandall passed away Friday, July 20, 2018. Mr. Steelman was preceded in death by his wife Alice Steelman, a daughter Cheryl Bice a grandaughter Renee Loftis and his parents, P.R. and Lola Steelman.

He is survived by three sons and daughters in law, Lynn and Janice Steelman, Randy and Leona Steelman all of Crandall, Timmy and Darcell Steelman of Chatsworth.

Grandchildren and spouses, Stephanie and Brad Bates, Jessica Middleton, Jake and Lesleigh Middleton, Heath and Rachel Steelman, Krisy Steelman, Samantha and Brian Pless, Taylor Steelman, April Young, Alison and Stanton Jones, Cherie and Frank Aaron, Shelley and Michael Floyd.  Great Grandchildren, Braxton and Maggie Bates, Riley and Matt Hopkins, Braleigh and Emmie Middleton, Tracy Loftis, Kelsey and Bailey Steelman, Bryson Green, Linley Pless, Shane Patton, Jr., Logan and Lawson Young, Avery and Allie Jones. Brother and sister in law, Ray and Ruth Steelman of Ellijay. Sisters, Virgie Howard of Crandall, Bonnie Jackson of Dalton, and Juanita Pack of Cleveland. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral Services will be Monday 2 pm at  Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Chastain and Rev. Bobby Timms officiating.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.  The Chatsworth American Legion Post 167 will have full Military Honors.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday  5 till 9 pm.
