Mrs. Kathy J. Smith: Obituary

Kathy J. Smith age 64 of Chatsworth passed away Friday March 24, 2017 at the Hamilton Medical Center.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Hazel (Massingale) Jones, sister, Linda Jones, and  brothers, Wilburn M. Jones, James L. Jones and Clifford (Buck) Jones, Jr..

Kathy is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Wayne Smith

Sons and daughters in law, Rodney and Tammy Smith, Mark Smith and Sandy Bertalone all of Chatsworth. Grandchildren and Fiance, Whitney Smith and Michael Franklin, Mason Smith all of Chatsworth. Great granddaughter, McKinley Franklin of Chatsworth. Sisters and brothers in law, Audrey and David Huffines of Chatsworth, Phyllis and Jimmy Millsaps, Rachel and Dennis Hayes all of Dalton, brother & sister in law: Jerry & Dot Jones. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral Services will be Sunday 2 pm at the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Davis and Rev. Bobby Bowers officiating.  Interment will follow in the Eton Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday after 6 pm.
