Mr. Robert E. “Bug” Rogers, Jr. : Obituary

Mr. Robert E. “Bug” Rogers, Jr. age 71 of Chatsworth, passed away Monday March 13, 2017 at Hamilton Medical Center.

Mr. Rogers was a US Army veteran,  He was also a member of the American Legion Post 167 in Chatsworth.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Ann Rogers; mother, Robbie Lee Rogers; father, Robert E. Rogers, Sr.;

Survivors include, sons and daughters-in-law, Billy Ray and Janet Rogers, Fort Wayne, IN, Robert R. and Dawn Rogers, Corpus Christi, TX; daughter, Cindy Quarles, Charleston, TN; brother, Charles Rogers, Dalton; 9 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; aunts; uncles; nieces; cousins.

Memorial services will be held Thursday March 16, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Lamar Payne officiating. Interment will follow in the Amazing Grace Church Cemetery with military honors by the American Legion Post 167 of Chatsworth.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 12 noon until 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Peeples Funeral Home & Crematory of Chatsworth is in charge of the arrangements.
